PCGamerBike

Exercise can be fun!  Athletes playsports.  They don't focus on how hard it is to run down the field.  They're thinking about how to make the next score.  Their increased heart rate and raised endorphin levels make the experience more exciting.  It's the same when using the PCGamerBike to play PC games.  Your mind is so focused on winning the race, making the score, chasing the bad guy or a thousand other scenarios, that you really don't think about the exercise you are getting.

The PCGamerBike is a compact exercise bike that directly interacts with PC games. Your pedal motion precisely controls your character motion in the game. Pedal forward to move your character forward, pedal reverse to move your character backward. Just plug your PCGamerBike into a USB port and it's ready to go.

PCGamerBike can be used to play any PC game that uses a keyboard for input. (PS2 optional controller also available).

The reasons for this include,

· The PCGamerBike is configurable. You can independently assign your forward and reverse pedal motion to any key on the keyboard. You can do the same for the 3 primary mouse buttons.

· The response time of the PCGamerBike is extremely fast. This is a must for 1st person shooter and sports games.

· The resolution of the PCGamerBike is nearly 2 orders of magnitude better than any other gaming bike on the market. This gives you very precise, accurate game control.

Which games give you the most exercise?

You'll get the most out of the PCGamerBike when playing games where you control the motion of a person or vehicle using the keyboard. Listed below are game categories that will help you get the most out of the PCGamerBike.

Driving and Racing Games

When using PCGamerBike in "Pulse Mode", your vehicle speed is proportional to your pedal speed. The faster you pedal, the faster you go. You can also customize the bike to your athletic ability.

First Person and RPG's

The PCGamerBike gives you precise control over your forward and reverse character motion. This is a must for first person shooter games and many RPGs (Role Playing Games).

There are several online RPGs available for the PC.

Perhaps the most popular is World of Warcraft®, of which there are over 7 million subscribers.

Exercise Logging

While the PCGamerBike is connected to your PC, your pedal motion is automatically collected for you and saved to your computer.

With two clicks of a mouse button you can open the PCGamerBike Exercise Log dialog box and find out the following information for any day that you've used the bike.

· Total time peddling

· Average speed

· Maximum speed

· Total Distance

· Estimated Calories Burned

The PCGamer Bike Exercise Log Dialog box is shown below.

You can also see the following graphs.

· Forward pedal speed versus time.

· Reverse pedal speed versus time.

· Combined pedal speed versus time.

The PCGamerBike and 3D Virtual Worlds

The PCGamerBike is great for exploring 3D Virtual worlds.  Pedal forward to move your character forward, pedal reverse to move your character backward.

There are many on-line virtual worlds applications to choose from.  Many include games and activities.  Each application has hundreds of worlds that you can explore using the PCGamerBike.

Many of these software applications are free to use.  There are virtual worlds for all ages some examples of popular sites are Disney's ToontownWhyville, Cyber Town and Second Life.  For a comprehensive list of virtual worlds, see the Virtual Worlds Review website.
